This instrument has an a big rich professional sound. This was a professionally played instrument from a player whose father passed away and they are now putting it on the market. This viola has been shown to experts who would be happy to write a certificate, but there is no question of its authenticity. This is a very fine professional instrument for a discerning player.

It is in incredibly good shape, there is some varnish has texture from the case, mostly on the back in the lower center. There is a hairline post crack that has glued up and stable, but does not have a patch. It has been played as is for years.
