4/4 Rudoulf Doetsch 701 German Cello

$4,600.00

Dark big sound with lots of volume.   A great example of these German cellos from Eastman.   This one was hand selected.

Rudoulf Doetsch Model 701 Cello is crafted out of select European tone woods. The 701 was made in Germany.  It is made of a spruce top and maple back. The Rudoulf Doetsch Model 701 Cello is set up with a Superieur Despiau France bridge. It is strung with Larsen mediums for the A and D strings. It is strung with Thomastick Infeld Spirocores for the G and C strings.  The Doetsch has standard style ebony pegs, Wittner tailpiece, and a carbon fiber end pin. Professional appearance and sound.

From their beginnings in a small violin-making town in Germany to their completion in our Eastman Strings workshop in Beijing, China, Rudoulf Doetsch instruments are in the hands of experts. That’s why they have become known as “America’s favorite German instruments.” – EastmanMusicCompany.com
